We are supposed to have a children’s event for the holiday next month, but our furnace isn’t working correctly.
I am hoping that the weather will really be heating up a lot by then, but I’m not so sure that it will be. I know that the kids are going to have a good time at the event regardless, but I still hope that we will have nice weather on the day of the event. We always have a huge turnout for events like this, and we have tons of games and toys and prizes for them. We already have a lot of the prep work done, and so I am hoping that we can get the HVAC system all fixed up and ready to go by then, too. I know that we are going to have to get a commercial HVAC company out here to the church to get the furnace fixed. We always used to use the family owned HVAC company of a guy who went to church here, but he and his family moved away a couple of years ago so now we have to use another company. The HVAC company that we use now is a place who does mostly light commercial work around the city. I know that they will probably be able to get the furnace up and running in time for the children’s event. At least I hope that they can! They seem to be pretty slow at finishing their jobs, though. I don’t know if their schedule is backed up or what, but I hope that they will be able to get to us before the event is scheduled. It’s really coming up fast and I don’t want to have to cancel if it’s still cold outside!
