My husband was on his way home from work yesterday around four in the afternoon when he noticed a truck on the side of the road.
He slowed down and that’s when he noticed that the driver looked exactly like someone that we know.
It ended up that the truck that was broken down was an HVAC maintenance truck and the driver of the truck was our HVAC technician! He had just been at our house the week before to do our regular air conditioning maintenance for us and so he recognized my husband right away, too. This particular HVAC technician is our favorite one and so we always request him as our service technician whenever we have to call and make an appointment for a furnace or air conditioning repair. He’s a really nice guy and he’s very personable. Plus, he always gets the job done quickly whenever he has to fix our furnace or our air conditioning system. It turns out that he was on his way to an emergency air conditioning repair appointment when the HVAC service truck started making weird noises and then it just broke down right there in the middle of the road. He was able to get it off the road and onto the curb and that’s where he was sitting when my husband found him. It was a good thing he did, too, because there is no cell phone service in that area! Our favorite HVAC technician could have been sitting there for several hours if my husband had not come by!
