I wanted to have my air conditioning repaired, but I knew I would be waiting until the next day
I have heard of people who call off work because of being sick. Many people call off work because of family emergencies, or just because they don’t feel like going in. I had to call off work a couple of times, because I was waiting for the HVAC technician, or some other repairman. I had never had the HVAC technician call me and tell me they weren’t going to get to my house that day. The HVAC company has called me, but not the HVAC technician. Yesterday, the HVAC technician called and told me he had to call off, because he was lost. I couldn’t believe the HVAC tech had just called off lost. I called the HVAC company and asked what was going on? She wanted to know what I was talking about, and I told her about the strange call I had just received from their technician. She asked me to give her a few minutes, and she would call me back. When I got the phone call from the HVAC technician, she told me he had taken a wrong turn on Mountain Road, and he had no idea where he was. I offered to give some directions, but she had told him to use his GPS. Wherever he was, the GPS wasn’t working. I wanted to have my air conditioning repaired, but I knew I would be waiting until the next day. If he was where I thought he was, the HVAC technician was never going to get her to fix my air conditioning unit. I just hoped he got home safely.
