The OBGYN AC is horrible

I also know the back rooms tend to have more air conditioning too.

Going to my OBGYN is the worst thing that I do now. I just hate going. I need to drive 20 minutes to sit in a waiting room for hours. I then get to pee in a cup, have my weight and blood pressure taken and then I sit in a different room for almost an hour. The doctor then puts a tape measurer on my belly and finds the baby’s heartbeat. It takes him maybe two minutes and then I get to go home. The appointment should be around 5 minutes and instead I waste around 3 hours of my day everytime. It is not like the OBGYN is so comfortable and warm either. In fact, it is downright cold. The doctor must really love his air conditioning. I have since learned to pack pants and a jacket. If outside is in the 80s, that means inside the thermostat must be set to 50 degrees. I put pants over my shorts and a jacket over my tank top. I know which waiting room seats get hit by the air conditioner worse. I also know the back rooms tend to have more air conditioning too. I don’t get what the deal is with medical offices and cooling systems. In operating rooms the tools emit heat and it is dangerous for the patient to sweat. Okay, that makes sense. Why can’t I be warm when I pee in a cup or have a tape measure on my belly? Why does the OBGYN need to be in arctic conditions? I am suspicious it is all due to my doctor liking a lot of AC.
