I don’t think the heat is an issue because we live pretty far up north and usually it doesn’t get higher than the 70’s in the day
One of my buddies is really broke and I am going to buy a space heater for her so she can stay warm in her little apartment. She got divorced not too long ago and didn’t try to get any money from the situation because she just wanted to break free from her husband once and for all. I feel sorry for her because she is trying to raise two little kids on her own and has very little money to do so. I know that her apartment is really cold as I went there the other day and almost froze because she had no heating device in the place. I will buy her something next week when the stores all calm down and the sales all start up again. I think I will get her one of those portable oil heaters, maybe even a few of them, and then her and her kids should be fine for the cold winters. The summers are pretty mild here so I don’t think they need anything to keep cool except for a few little fans here and there. I don’t think they have ever had an air conditioner in the apartment for as long as I have known them, but the place seems to stay quite cool during the day, even during the hottest days of summer.
