The last few years have been some trying times for just about everybody I know.
There was the more than 16 months that I spent at home inside the central air conditioning working from home.
And it wasn’t just me. My wife got kicked out of the commercial HVAC of her office and the kids were home and learning online. But my wife sure are fortunate to have such great kids. We both had a hard time adjusting to working from the air conditioning of home. It was tough to find a rhythm at first and that was tough on both of us. Yet, we didn’t have to worry about our kids at all. They were just so self motivated to get their studies done that we didn’t have to supervise them at all really. But I was still so amazed at just how well all of us got along. And it wasn’t easy either. Still though, we managed to remember to respect each other and realize that we were all in this thing together. We even got to the point that we would get outside the quality heating and air of our home to play a game or go for a long walk each day. Once we dug ourselves out of the financial hole from the pandemic, I decided to gift my family an HVAC upgrade for all their efforts during the pandemic. So we now have zone controlled HVAC in our home with six thermostat throughout the house. It’s just my way of acknowledging just how lucky I am to have such an excellent family.
