I have been using the same HVAC repair company for the past six years.
When I bought a brand new HVAC unit three years ago, I signed up for a service contract.
The contract included tune-up appointments on the HVAC unit for the next three years. The contract is up now unfortunately and that means that I have to pay full price for the tune-up fees. I called the repair company that I normally use and I found out that the price for the tune up it’s going to be $89. I called a couple of different places and I found out that the prices are similar. I started looking online to see if I could find a coupon for a cheaper price. I searched high and low, and I found a coupon for an HVAC tune-up. Unfortunately, the coupon was from a different company that I have never used in the past. I was a little nervous about using a different company, but I had the chance to save $25. I decided to schedule a service appointment with the new company. The young and handsome service technician was friendly and knowledgeable on my specific system, and the tune up appointment was extremely thorough. The guy spent about an hour inside of my home and he gave me a copy of the 50 point checklist that he has to follow with every inspection. The list included some items that I didn’t realize they checked the electrical connections and the belts. I think the new HVAC service company provided an excellent service.
