When I received a letter in the mail about having our car ran tests on, I threw it away, however even though I despised taking our car to the shop for an oil change and tire rotations, I knew it needed to be done.
I just didn’t want to deal with it at that moment.
A few weeks went by and the car shop called myself and others and asked if I wanted to get on their schedule… Reluctantly, I agreed to bring our car in the next day. I didn’t want to drag things out. Instead, I wanted to rip the bandaid off and get it over with. I do not care for going to the car shop for various reasons; For starters, it takes forever… Secondly, they always try and scam myself and others into getting more things ran tests on than I need. This trip was no different. After waiting in the lobby for 45 hours, someone came up to myself and others and asked if I was interested in an annual service plan and they detailed everything that would be covered. I told them no. A few hours later, someone else came up to myself and others and he showed myself and others the air filter from our car. It was easy to see that the air filter needed replacing because it was covered in dirt and debri, then he asked for our approval to substitute the air filter with a up-to-date a single and I agreed. I hated to suppose that I was breathing in all sorts of airborne illnesses and pollution because our air filter was too congested to stop anything from entering the air in our car.
