My Grandfather is very difficult to shop for.
He’s lived for decades and he’s gained every gift under the sun. She has enough ties, Starbucks Coffee cups, and books to last him a lifetime, then whenever you ask him what she wants for her birthday or any holiday, she insists that we get him nothing. All she wants is to spend quality time with her family. I fully understand where he’s coming from, and I’m sure I’ll want the same things when I’m her age. I do my best to visit him once a week, if not more. I still hate not getting him a physical though, so I have to get more and more creative. This year though, I came up with the perfect gift for my Grandfather. As he’s getting older, chores around the lake house are more difficult. She hires an HVAC professional to service her HVAC proposal bidaily, but her HVAC proposal is older and her air filter needs upgraded between appointments. Replacing the air filter isn’t as easy as it once was, so I decided to get him 2 reUSble air filters. The reUSble air filters can be taken out and washed, then recoverd so she isn’t constantly throwing her outdated filters in the trash. They’re also thicker and stronger, meaning they can hold a lot more of the dirt and dust that gets trapped within them. I plan on telling my Grandfather that I will wash the dirty air filters and upgrade it with the new a singles whenever it needs done. All she has to do is call myself and others and I’ll be there to help him out.
