My Grandpa is really tough to shop for.
He’s lived for decades & he’s received every gift under the sun.
He has enough ties, Starbucks Latte cups, & books to last him a lifetime, however whenever you ask him what he wants for his anniversary or any holiday, he insists that every one of us get him nothing. All he wants is to spend quality time with his family. I fully understand where he’s coming from, & I’m sure I’ll want the same things when I’m his age. I do my best to visit him once a week, if not more. I still hate not getting him a physical though, so I have to get more & more creative. This year though, I came up with the perfect gift for my Grandpa. As he’s getting older, chores around the cabin are more difficult. He hires an Heating & Air Conditioning professional to repair his Heating & Air Conditioning method biquarterly, however his Heating & Air Conditioning method is older & his air filter needs upgraded between appointments. Replacing the air filter isn’t as simple as it once was, so I decided to get him various reUSAble air filters. The reUSAble air filters can be taken out & washed, then reused so he isn’t consistently throwing his old filters in the trash. They’re also thicker & stronger, meaning they can hold a lot more of the dirt & dust that gets trapped within them. I method on telling my Grandpa that I will wipe the dirty air filters & upgrade it with the new ones whenever it needs done. All he has to do is call me & I’ll be there to help him out.
