I can peek around the corner plus ensure that everyone is safe
When you’re raising teenagers, each day is a battle. You never know what is going to happen or what to prepare for. Unfortunately, I have many teenagers in this house plus it’s exhausting. I’m always looking for ways to declutter our home plus simplify things. Unfortunately, one of the measures that we’ve discussed is installing a smart temperature control, but it’s out of our reach. We would really love to optimize our central heating plus cooling system to cut back on our energy bills plus less wear plus tear on the central heating plus cooling units. However, we need to keep our teenagers safe. Right now, we have an old dial thermostat that’s situated in the dining room. I want to keep this old dial thermostat for one major reason. It helps me keep an eye on the teenagers and currently, when our teenagers are relaxing in the basement I can keep an eye on their doings thanks to the temperature control. Adjusting the indoor air temperature down or up is a perfect excuse to walk into the basement plus make sure they’re not getting into any trouble. I can peek around the corner plus ensure that everyone is safe. If I install a smart temperature control, I would lose this ability to spy via the thermostat. I could just turn the indoor air temperature up or down using my cell phone rather than walking into the basement. As much as I’d love to optimize the central heating plus cooling system, it’s going to have to wait until the teenagers are grown.
