I’m exasperated right now because I’ve been grounded and I really don’t want to spend my summer in the house after I’ve already been quarantining here for weeks.
I was enthusiastic to finally go outside & begin seeing my friends.
However, I got caught. My trouble all began when the central cooling plan started working inefficiently. It’s been seriously sizzling & humid for the past week or so, and it wasn’t a big surprise that our central cooling plan was struggling to keep up. Everyone was hearing the AC equipment make a lot of scary sounds from outside my window and whenever the A/C was streaming cool air into the vents, we all prayed that it didn’t shut down! Unfortunately, it did and that’s when my parents had to call the local heating, cooling, & ventilation specialist for an emergency repair. When a heating & cooling technician arrived at our house, we showed him to the air conditioning unit underneath my window. We went back inside to give him space to work. Thirty minutes later, he returned & told us that the A/C unit was repaired & running again. However, he continued by saying that there were footprints covering the top of the big AC unit. This is when my parents found out that I was using the central A/C plan to sneak out of my window in the evenings. I think that the heating & cooling technician was only doing his job, however he really did a number to my summer.
