While I was at the office today in the heating and a/c supplier that I work for I was so ecstatic to see one of our co-workers get a big promotion! I knew they had been working for this for a long time and all their difficult labor had paid off. Max got promoted to chief heating and a/c specialist. I could have put in for this promotion myself, but even though it would have meant a little more pay, I felt this kind of work was not for myself and others and I was totally ecstatic at being your ordinary certified heating and a/c specialist. But Max is a pal of mine so that made myself and others even more ecstatic for him. The fact that Max will be the new chief heating and a/c specialist makes it even better for myself and others because it is cool to have a friend in that position. I am not talking about getting special treatment or anything like that. I am just saying in the sense that I will be more comfortable with the chief heating and a/c specialist if they are a personal friend, that is all. I have been working here for about the same amount of time as Max, which is a little under 10 years. I method to just stay as I am until I retire or get a better offer from another heating and cooling supplier. As I mentioned, the supervising heating and a/c specialist position just wasn’t for myself and others because I am not that good at being an employer of any sorts.
