Being a single mom, I sometimes neglect some of our bills to make sure our children are fed, clothed, plus have everything they need for school. Before our partner left, I always had a great pad in our savings account. If anything were to come up as an emergency, I had plenty of money in the savings account to cover it. Now that I am a single mom, I have no savings. I have just enough money in our bank account to keep our bills paid plus to afford the necessities, but last week, I realized that I had not had our air filters changed in either the air conditioning machine or the furnace since our partner left nearly 8 weeks ago. When I went to pull the air filter out of the air conditioning unit, I could not do it. The air filter was stuck, plus I had to call the Heating as well as Air Conditioning dealer. When the Heating as well as Air Conditioning worker showed up at our house, she went directly to the A/C unit. She asked if I’d been having any problem with the amount of air conditioning I had coming out of the air vents. I could not genuinely tell him if I observed any difference, but when I put our hand in front of the air vent I observed that the airflow was weak. She said she hoped that the air filter was not doing any mangle to the A/C unit. When she could finally get the air filter out, I felt horrible. I was sure I was going to end up with a large bill, although I wasn’t sure how much. She told me she wasn’t going to charge me for increasing the air filter, although I needed to remember to change the air filter at least every six weeks.
