I wish that I could be as on top of things as I would like to be.
But life seems to keep getting in the way.
There are all these plans in place for me to get stuff done and then they sort of get blown up by unexpected stuff. However, there has to be a way for me to make sure that stuff like the HVAC equipment remains a priority in our home. Heating and cooling is not really an option in our home. While we live in a region that doesn’t need much HVAC heating in the winter, there is plenty of HVAC cooling demand in the summer. Still, the heat pump gets use during the winter and I make sure the HVAC company comes out to do the heating maintenance in the fall. Actually, that was something that I did right when it came to the HVAC equipment. I joined the HVAC service plan. This way, I don’t have to rely on my memory or one of my lists in order to make the HVAC maintenance appointments. The HVAC company does that for me and then just lets me know via email and I simply confirm the dates. Still, I have been working to get better about the rest of my HVAC duties. Primarily, I’ve been doing better about making sure the HVAC air filter is getting changed on time. The air filter should be changed once per month according to the HVAC company. So I’m setting alerts on my phone in order to remember that. And I bought an entire case of air filters so I don’t have to keep running to the hardware store each month.
