Yesterday I spent a few hours on the phone which was extremely therapeutic for me.
I rarely interact with other humans these days and I tend to self isolate to one left to my own devices.
I can definitely fall into a rabbit hole and forget that other humans exist on this planet. That’s why it was a good idea for me to get in touch with my older brother and catch up over a long chat. I always enjoy talking to him… But there are times that I just have to shake my head over his strange behaviors. My brother is honestly a bit of a hypocrite. Yesterday he kept telling me that I really needed to worry about my indoor air handling devices if I wanted to save some money over the winter. He insisted that my central heating equipment was going to cost me an arm and a leg if I didn’t have some professional repair services arranged for the antique heating system. He didn’t want me to breathe in contaminated indoor air for the entire season. He also was worried about my high energy bills and potential for a furnace break down in the middle of the cold season. I really appreciate all of his concerns and advice over my indoor air handling devices and financial outlook. However, when I asked about his own heating and cooling system my brother totally went the other direction. He told me there was nothing wrong with his Central HVAC system and he would get by without any professional HVAC repairs. Sure, his energy bills were twice as high as usual but he was certain that it would all work out.
