My mom’s furnace is toiling again.
My mom is such a trusting person. I know that it can be a good thing to be trusting, however it can also be a disappointing thing to be trusting. She trusts things that she shouldn’t trust like her furnace. She trusts that her furnace will last her this coming winter because it started toiling once again. Her furnace quit last winter, plus it was terrible. It stopped toiling for about a week. She heated her house with her gas stove plus a few electric space heaters. I felt so disappointing for her. The furnace ended up turning back on after a week of not toiling, plus it worked the rest of the winter. I decided to test out her furnace last week, plus it would not turn on. It is September, so she doesn’t need her furnace right now, but I wanted to make sure that it was toiling. It wasn’t toiling. I told my mom that her furnace wouldn’t turn on again. She said that it would really eventually turn on, so she told me not to worry about it. Well, I don’t see how I could not worry about it. She kept trying to turn her furnace on for multiple nights in a row… Finally, after a week of it not turning on, it turned on. She is now convinced that her furnace is great plus will last her the winter. I wish so badly that I had the cash to spend money to get her furnace maintained, but I simply don’t have the cash right now. I don’t even know anyone who knows anything about furnaces. I hope she is right plus her furnace lasts this coming winter.
