I had just bought the house and I had no one around me that I knew.
I was told I should have the HVAC system inspected, and this seemed like the right time to have it done. I picked up the phone and dialed the number of the HVAC company the previous owners used. They asked what the problem was, and I didn’t know what to say. I told them I needed it inspected, and I had the day off. I would appreciate if they sent a young HVAC technician to the house and get the inspections done. The woman on the phone asked why I wanted a young HVAC technician. I told her she was silly and it had to be obvious I was young. I didn’t want a fuddy duddy daddy type coming to the house and talking down to me about HVAC systems and how I should take care of them. My dad was an HVAC technician, and I knew all about old HVAC technicians. She asked if there was anything else I wanted, so I told her if I had a choice, I also wanted a good looking HVAC technician that was young. The woman got a bit upset with me and told me it wasn’t a dating service, but the HVAC technician would be there later in the afternoon. When the HVAC technician arrived, he asked if I had really ordered a young, good looking HVAC technician? I laughed and told him yes, and I was glad they complied.
