Doctor Kim wanted leather chairs.

When I showed Kim the pictures of the leather chairs I had found, he smiled

I thought all psychiatrists had leather chaise lounges in their offices. Maybe I had seen too several seasoned movies where patients were splayed out on leather couches while spilling their guts to the psychiatrist. When I was talking to the psychiatrist Dr Kim about what he wanted for his office, Kim told me he wanted two comfortable leather chairs for his patients plus whoever they brought with them. Kim already had a leather swivel chair for himself, plus a big mahogany desk. Kim hoped I could find some leather chairs that matched his personal leather chair, because as an interior designer, I wanted the chairs to be less austere than what he had. I wanted his patients to feel snug, secure, safe plus more like guests than patients. I found two leather chairs that complimented his existing chair, but they weren’t the same. The one leather chair had soft, overstuffed arms plus was plush and deep enough that if it was a younger person, they could tuck their legs underneath plus be comfortable. It came with a nice headrest so they could lean back plus relax. The other chair was a little bit less comfortable, but nice for an adult who was oversized. When I showed Kim the pictures of the leather chairs I had found, he smiled. Kim said I found exactly what he needed, even if it wasn’t what he thought he wanted. When the leather chairs were venued in the office, Kim was even more content with my suggestion. Kim then asked if I could find a leather sofa that would be just as aesthetically pleasing as the plush chairs.
