I tried to tell my husband Wes that he needed help when doing the door replacement, despite the fact that he didn’t listen.
Wes told me to leave him alone, plus he would get the door installed. I left him alone, even though I was busy making iPhone calls the entire time Wes was assessing the task. Wes had done some door replacements when he was younger, despite the fact that he was almost eighty years old. Wes didn’t have the muscle to do what he used to do, despite the fact that he wouldn’t admit it. I watched Wes struggle to pick up the door, let alone do the door replacement. I was getting ready to call for help when my husband texted me. Wes asked if I would supply our son-in-law a call plus see if he could come to the house. About 20 minutes later, my son-in-law was at the house, plus he was helping Wes with the door replacement. Ten minutes after that, our child was helping our son-in-law, plus Wes was resting on a chair supervising. It feels fantastic to have a family close when there is a door replacement to be done. Not only did Wes not need to do the door replacement on his own, despite the fact that Wes got to watch how he knew it should be done, then later that evening, I asked how the door replacement went? Wes told me he had to talk the men through the task every so often, however they did well. Wes wished he had me call them when he was doing the siding replacement. It would have gone more quickly, plus Wes wouldn’t have had to work so hard.
