I moved into a new home last April, then i wanted to make my apartment’s interior design as new as the home itself, my sister Kim was a newer interior designer that was just starting out her business[.
I told Kim what I wanted plus gave her the go ahead to get whatever furniture she wanted for me.
I told Kim what my budget was, plus she went to work, when I got property one afternoon, there was a note on my door telling me that the furniture delivery had been rescheduled for the next afternoon, because no one was on the property to earn the furniture. I was off the next afternoon, plus I was on the property waiting to get the furniture. When I saw them offloading two leather couches from the truck, I didn’t know the couches were mine, and the delivery person said an interior designer had chosen the leather sofas for this apartment… He said he would take them back, although I would need to get someone else to option them up. They only attempted delivery twice. When Kim called, I asked her about the leather couches, and Kim asked if I didn’t enjoy them? They were soft plus nice to curl up in. I loved the soft butter yellow, although I was sure they had to be over my budget. Kim said she got them at a ware property sale, plus they cost less than the cloth sofas Kim and I had been looking at. When I asked if they had leather chairs to match, she giggled. The leather chairs were to be delivered on Monday. I’m glad I hired Kim as the interior designer.
