We got the wrong door.

We knew exactly what door my pal Cal and I wanted, plus my pal and I knew what size it needed to be.

My fantastic friend Cal and I had to replace the garage door three times in the last fifteen years.

This area has high winds plus excess moisture, plus the metal door often started rusting in two to three years. Cal called the door supplier plus put in the order for the current replacement door. When the door arrived, we found the door supplier had sent us the wrong door. This was an unfinished door, plus there weren’t any cut-outs for the doorknob or the lockset, even worse was that the door supplier had even sent us the wrong door! Once again, my husband Cal was on the iPhone to the door business. This time, he wanted them to come pick up the door plus bring us the door Cal and I wanted for the garage. The person told him he sent us the door that my pal and I ordered. Cal read him the door number plus the measurements. Cal then read him the door number on the door plus the measurements, which did not match. Cal wasn’t glad when the person said he must have given them the wrong measurements. Cal told him the door supplier must have either written them down wrong, or just given us someone else’s garage door, although the person didn’t like it, he knew he was going to need to supply a more current door to us. No one is right 100% of the time, plus Cal let him know that this was one of those less than perfect times for the door business.
