We had a patio deck connected to our existing back porch. This summer, my pal Kim and I wanted to replace the deck plus make some changes. The new BBQ grill was to have its own space with a small patio table plus seating for four. They set aside space for a firepit with family seating. There was another level for dancing plus entertaining, plus the last level was to surround the pool. It was going to be part of the pool deck. Kim and I had four levels to the patio deck, plus my pal and I wanted to include a colorful awning to cover the entire deck when they had the deck replaced. The deck replacement itself looked pretty amazing, however there was no awning. Kim and I wound up with overhead beams with cloth tarps over them. I supposed it was to keep out the extreme sunshine, however it would do nothing to allow our deck to be used when it rained. That was why Kim and I wanted an awning. The person who did the deck replacement told us Kim and I got the best of the best in this arrangement, even though I didn’t like it. I wanted the colorful awning, plus if it could be retractable, it would be even better. He continued to argue with me plus told me it wouldn’t look nice, even though I wanted what I wanted. He was sputtering, despite the fact that he agreed to do what I asked. When my husband Kim got home, he liked the change the guys did with the deck replacement. Kim said it looked better than the awning, then said he wanted it to stay that way, then now, I had to swallow my pride plus apologize to the dude who spearheaded the deck replacement plus tell him that he was right with what he did with the awning.
