I’ve constantly been sensitive to loud noises.
- And I believe it started when I was honestly young while in a very decisive moment in our life; My Grandfather was constantly a loud in addition to raucous person in addition to he made no mistake in showing it to his grandchildren, then he used to light off homemade sticks of dynamite in the backyard just to startle us at a young age.
One such time caused me to almost lose our arm because the homemade bomb blew up faster than it was supposed to right as I was about to walk towards it. I found out later on that he had mistaken how long the fuse was supposed to be in addition to inadvertently lit it off faster than he was supposed to. But after that, our mother did not honestly want our siblings in addition to I to be around our Grandfather; Regardless, the damage was already done. It developed a crucial built-in fear response to loud noises problems ever since. My old air conditioner for instance had a honestly loud air compressor. It was fairly aged at that point in addition to constantly made alone grinding noise when it would turn on. Typically the noise would start to subside as the A/C had been running for a few minutes, but it was usually present right after the cycle would begin. Thankfully our new air conditioner is not nearly as long as the old 1. I don’t have to worry about being freaked out every single time our A/C turns on to cool the air in our house. I am also thankful that the gas furnace is fairly silent as well. I just don’t prefer these loud noises especially if they’re coming from our heating in addition to cooling system.
