Last Summer, the capacitor inside my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C condenser malfunctioned

After the sizzling Summer that we had last year, I had planned on buying a cover for my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C condenser.

The machine is in my backyard plus although it is surrounded by a important shrub, I think it gets too much direct sunlight; In fact, last Summer, the capacitor malfunctioned, plus I think it was because it burned out due to too much direct sun.

The capacitor is one of the parts in a Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C machine that fails the most. The main causes that a capacitor fails include imcorrect voltage, wear plus tear of the part, plus overheating. It could have been caused by the wear plus tear because I did use my air conditioner a lot that year. But something is telling myself and others that the sunshine caused it to overheat as well since that was one of the hottest Summers we have on record. The Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C condenser is built to withstand dire weather that include heavy rains plus winds, ice storms plus high heat… However, when the temperature was hitting over 95 degrees every day plus the sunshine was beating down on the condenser unit, I think that the capacitor was also feeling the pressure. I asked my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C corporation if a cover would help to block some of the direct sun. He said it would, however covers are not recommended for Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C condensers plus I am better off placing some kind of shaded barrier around the unit. I have a few weeks before the weather gets actually hot, so I will do some research to see the best solution to give shade for my Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C condenser.
