Out of the mouths of babes was an expression I heard a good amount when I was young! I know it’s referring to the fact that some major truth can come out of new human beings.
But recently, I came to learn a whole lot about Heating & Air Conditioning & indoor air conditions from a single of my babes… Well, I assume he truly is not a babe anymore considering that he has a freshman in school.
But he has a lot for the holidays & that is always awesome… The first thing my little one did when he got back to our loft was tell me how much he loved the central air conditioner in our home, and his dorm room is in an outdated building with a big boiler in the basement that produces radiant heating. My son was basically explaining to me that it’s either on or it’s off & when it’s on, it’s too hot. But then he sort of surprised me with the comprehension he had when it comes to the heating & cooling appliances. I generally let the Heating & Air Conditioning workers take care of all of my needs when it comes to the heating & cooling inside my dwelling. But my son provided me some new comprehension when it came to the sort of Heating & Air Conditioning air filters I’ve been using. I often use the cheapest available simply because they are the cheapest. My son explained to me that if I switched to a HEPA filter, I would be removing more than ninety percent of the contaminants that move around in the air, and so I did that & in just afternoons, I could tell a difference in the indoor air. I am totally amazed that something so simple as adding a HEPA filter can make such a significant change. And it’s even more fantastic that I am coming to learn stuff from my kid.
