Everyone totally thinks their pet is the smartest pet in the world.
- I don’t just suppose he is smart, I completely know he is smart.
He seriously loves to ride in the motorcar and all I need to do is dangle the keys and he grabs his leash and waits for me to attach it to his collar. He patiently heads over to the motorcar and waits for me to open the door. He then takes up his seat next to me and he will quietly look out the window while we drive to our destination. A couple of weeks ago, we had our first genuine heatwave. I had turned on the air conditioning machine and adjusted the air vents so the A/C machine was blowing directly over me. Tiger kept looking over at me and then at the air vent, which I had not opened for him yet. He must have believed that I had forgotten all about his desire for some AC. When I stopped at a stop light, he nosed over and pushed on the air vent lever so the A/C was pointing at him. When I adjusted the lever so I had the AC back, he began whimpering. I wasn’t sure if he was frustrated over the AC, or that I had done something to make him aggravated. I opened the air vent on his side of the motorcar and turned up the airflow a great deal. He completely relaxed in his seat when I did that. When I turned the air conditioning machine off to his side of the car, he whimpered and looked at me with nothing but sadness. I never realized how smart Tiger was until that moment in time.
