My neighbor had a tree removed from her yard. She told me that the company was going to do the work on Tuesday. I moved my car out of the parking area so the tree trimming company would have more room to work. I was working from home that day. I have a little office in the back of my house away from the kids. I was watching the tree company work on the large oak in the backyard. I saw one guy start to move forward and I thought he had a large part of the tree. That tree picked him up off the ground and he fell when the tree hit my roof. The tree hit the corner of my roof. It wasn’t terrible, but the damage was enough that I could see into my bedroom. I immediately went outside to talk to the job foreman. He was waiting outside my door when I opened it up. He agreed to call a roofing contractor to fix the damages. I wanted to call a roofing contractor that I choose. He agreed to let me call anyone I wanted or I was going to call his insurance company.
