You know I have to admit, I had my concerns originally about the window air conditioning system, but it turns out that it is not bad at all.
In fact, I would say the window A/C is actually pretty nice! I decided to move to a different apartment a month back.
I wanted to live in a much bigger apartment, as my last one felt crammed, and with the addition of our child, my wife and I thought it was for the best. Our last apartment had everything we ever wanted, except space, so in a way it was hard to leave. Preferably, we would like to get a house in the future, but that is something that would have to wait. Anyways, when I was looking at apartments, I found an incredibly nice one. It had a community pool and playground, which would be great for our child. However, there was one small issue that concerned me, and that was the fact that these apartments only had window A/C as their method of cooling. Our previous place had central air conditioning, which is by far the best. I was skeptical of the window HVAC, and even though it was a small issue in an otherwise perfect place, we live in an area that is kind of known for having heat waves. I told my friend about it, who also lived in an apartment, and they told me I could try out their window A/C unit. So I went over to their place and messed around with it for a while. Satisfied, I decided to go for the apartments. This was the right thing to do, as the apartments as well as the HVAC turned out to be great.
