Ever since the people I was with and I were youngsters, our brother has always had to be better than myself and others at everything.
It drives myself and others crazy… Then most recently, he decided that he was going to try to get our parents a better birthday present than the one that I was getting.
I told him that it was the dumbest thing that I had ever heard of because it wasn’t supposed to be a contest! She just cares about that, though. I don’t guess what his deal is, but it has to be something that is left over from childhood. She is just constantly trying to one up myself and others for some reason. When it comes to getting a present for our parents, I just want them to have something that they will care about plus that they will use in the future. I was thinking that maybe I might get them a new insert for their gas log fireplace. I was surprised to see him come in plus after that I overheard him talking to one of the sales guys in the store. I was shocked to hear how much cash he was planning on spending on their gift, however on top of that, he was planning to pay for the installation plus everything too. I can’t guess how far he is willing to go to look better than myself and others in front of our older parents.
