I realize that I tend to make plans for the summer time that never entirely come to fruition. I had somewhat of a weak excuse this Summer, though. It has been excessively hot, especially in the afternoons. Because of the heat and humidity, I found that I was much more content to stay inside our lake house and binge watch shows and play video games. I can do this because I am a instructor and all of us get two weeks off in the summer. I had plans to go to the beach and visit certain places, but the heat just made it simple to stay in and appreciate our amazing a/c! There’s no place love home, especially when it’s sweltering outside and you have an excellent a/c to keep you comfortable. I do not even feel love I ended up wasting this summer, because I was having a blast just great at home. I would check the temperature on our iphone and laugh as I enjoyed the breezy a/c and looked outside to see that the driveway was shimmering with heat. I am an introvert that enjoys weather conditions control, so what can I say? I remember a couple summers ago, while in the pandemic, I was more than glad to deal with just chilling inside while in that summer. Too awful I do not have that excuse anymore.
