Coping without a gas furnace for a few afternoons over the holidays

I suppose the toughest time for us while in those few afternoons was when all of us tried to get some rest in our own kitchens

Over the holidays last year, our home’s gas furnace gave out on us, it ended up being 3 afternoons before an Heating and A/C business was able to come out and fix the gas furnace. All of us do not live in the absolute coldest region of the country, but it still gets significantly chilly in February, then there was, but, an uncharacteristically intense chilly front while in this time, and you would suppose that all of us would be angry, however, I remember the many ways that all of us coped without having a gas furnace for 3 afternoons and it was actually kind of fun. There were a few sources of heat that all of us ended up being able to use, and for 1, I sure did do a lot of baking! I baked cookies, baked muffins, and roasted chicken, etc. All of us still had electricity, which meant that all of us could still use the oven and stove, and it most really warmed up the immediate section of the kitchen. All of us also did laundry, so at least, the laundry room had the benefit of the dryer running, which kept that room nice and warm so long as clothes were in the dryer. All of us also had the fireplace in the living room, which was perhaps the most charming means of getting heat without our gas furnace. The fireplace was large enough to where the fire that all of us stoked every night kept us warm in the living room as all of us fellowshipped with 1 another. I suppose the toughest time for us while in those few afternoons was when all of us tried to get some rest in our own kitchens. All of us had to get extra blankets and pull out those ancient space heaters. All in all, all of us still thoroughly enjoyed that time over the holidays, but all of us were thankful that the gas furnace was eventually fixed.
