There’s Ductless Mini Split Systems in My Trailer Classroom

I’ve been teaching at the same university for 3 years now.

It was our first teaching position after graduating university, & I had no plan on switching universitys.

However, with the university plan accepting more & more students, our classrooms are filling up suddenly. In order to create more space for the amount of children all of us have, the university plan decided to add some trailers at the back of the university for extra classrooms. This sounded care about a wonderful solution, until they told myself and others that our class would be in 1 of the trailers. I’m 1 of the youngest professors at the university, which meant I was a perfect candidate for the makeshift classroom. Thankfully, the university board considered the heat & air. There was no way to attach our classroom to the existing central Heating & A/C system, so they installed more than one ductless mini split systems. They were mounted on opposing walls, & there was a single remote that could control both ductless mini systems. I could flip between the heat & air conditioning, & I could adjust the temperature up & down, for the most part, the ductless mini split systems work, however they’re not wonderful at evening heating & cooling the classroom. During the warmer weeks, I have to run a dehumidifier, because the hot air seeps in & the air becomes thick. I like teaching at this university, however I’m hoping all of us can build onto the existing university so I can transport out of this trailer. I don’t know how much more I can handle even with the ductless mini split systems.
