Time is money, so they say, but having time or money is great, however usually you have to trade 1 for the other; I tried to save time by fixing our own heating plus air conditioning unit at our home plus abruptly l acquired I lost time plus lost money, but not only did I take twice as long as a professional to repair the unit, I had to buy some tools to repair the air conditioner.
I should have consulted an expert or called a technician out to assess our problem before trying to repair it.
I further increased the hassle by getting a wire stuck plus the unit had to basically be replaced because I messed it up. I had some heating plus cooling knowledge however never tested a unit before. I was a trade repair person but I didn’t work on air conditioners or heaters! The systems can be complex plus use electricity so safety measures have to be followed strictly, then a normal heating plus air conditioning repair should take 4 to 8 hours however for me it took 14 to 16, I basically started it at night plus finished fixing the air conditioner the next day before dinner. If I wanted to save money plus time, I could have found a cheap corporation nearby to repair the air conditioner plus just watched how he fixed it too. The repair person was fast plus pointed out a few things I may have done wrong, he was an experienced worker plus it took him only 3 hours to repair our a/c unit. I’m gonna have a better plan plus a better expert next time when our heating plus cooling unit breaks.
