Back in my younger days, my reason for going to the gym was to put on size.
- Of course, I had no real workout program but that seemed beside the point.
It’s just not that way nearly 25 years later. My experience now is so different when it come to my health and wellness. Not to say there aren’t a bunch of people who have only their body image reasons for a workout program. Those people are still at the local gym. Yet, there are far more group fitness training classes along with great nutritional counseling. Going to my health and fitness center allows me to do so much more than just go to do weight lifting. I don’t imagine that I am ever going to grace the cover of any fitness magazine. However, I really want to get back to a commitment to wellness and fitness. It’s particularly important when factoring my age and condition. I’m fully in my early fifties now and I don’t want to end up not being able to be as active as I want to be. So, if I’m going to get in shape, it’s going to have to happen now. I want to take advantage of personal training as well as engaging other certified fitness experts. There is such a lot of opportunity for that at the local gym now. I want to make sure that I do what I need to do to take advantage of a balanced workout program. I know with the right guidance and personal training, I will be able to identify and reach my health and fitness goals.
