I apologized for being so loud and she said she didn’t mind
I am one of those types of people who loves to sing while I’m working. It helps me to stay focused and to turn out anything but my work. I’m not saying my singing is in any good and it definitely isn’t something I would want to share with the world. That’s why I was so embarrassed when I was caught singing the other day. I was sent out to work on an air conditioning unit. I was told that no one was home and I should do my work and leave the bill taped to the front door. I stood out there working on the air conditioning unit. I had my earbuds in, listening to the latest songs from the pop hit list. I was singing at the top of my lungs, not realizing how loud I really was. I loved John Legend and I couldn’t resist belting out one of his ballads. I was just about done with the air conditioning unit when I turned around. There stood a young woman smiling.. She had been standing there for quite some time because the iced tea she was holding had a lot of condensation on the side. I explained that I was the HVAC technician sent to work on her air conditioning unit. She told me she was the daughter of the owner, here to bring him some iced tea. I apologized for being so loud and she said she didn’t mind. As long as she got her air conditioning turned back on, she would even join me. I declined the offer and told her I was just about done.
