Finding old film stock

I was digging in my attic and found a ton of old film stock from many years ago.

I used to be a low budget movie producer, and all this film stock that I found was unlabeled and contained outtakes and rough cuts of some of my old films.

We are talking films from the 1960’s and 1970’s. I was curious to see what all these were and if anything was worth archiving, but I did not have projector anymore. So I needed to find somewhere where I could rent an old projector. I know finding a projector for rent of the old kind was going to be a tough task to do. The only projectors for rent that you could find were modern ones. And because of the type of old films these were, the modern projectors just would not be able to play them. So an old projector rental was in order. I searched the internet through many websites looking for an old projector rental, and I could not find one. The only projector rentals available were for the regular modern kind. It looks like if I really want to go through this old film stock, I am going to have to just go onto ebay or something like that and buy a used old time projector to view these film reels. That would be my best bet at this point. Who knew that I would actually want or need a projector again many years in the future? If I knew, I would not have got rid of my original old time projector 20 plus years ago!
