I remember when I was younger my parents liked keeping an energy efficient home. Back after that my friend and I didn’t understand, I would complain on summer time days that it was too boiling inside our house… During winter I would also complain that it would be too chilly in our house. I would regularly tell my parents to turn the heat up or turn the a/c up higher. They would tell me that it wasn’t necessary. They would say to turn my ceiling fan on if I was boiling or put on extra layers if I was cold. I never quite understood the meaning of this until I had to spend money rent for a house. I started to follow my parents’ rules because I wanted to save money. I called my Heating, Ventilation and A/C provider to see what else I could do to conserve energy plus money. He told me that while in the summer time I should set my thermostat as comfortably high as possible because the lower the difference between the outdoor temperature plus the indoor temperature is, the less my energy bill will be. Also while in the summer time I should set my thermostat as high as I can when I’m not household plus set it lower when I am household plus need it to be cooled. I was even told, to avoid excessive cooling plus unnecessary expenses, I should not set my thermostat to a colder setting than normal when my a/c kicks on. Thanks to my parents plus getting ahold of my Heating, Ventilation and A/C provider, I am now able to continue conserving energy plus saving money.

I’m making my family become much more energy efficient, however with three guys who keep every light on in the property and regularly play video games, the electricity bill is regularly above average. I’m sleepy of paying high-energy bills. I stress to them constantly that turning the lights off when they leave a room is pressing, then but what I say goes into one ear and out the other. I wanted to find alternative ways to save energy that didn’t involve my kids. I called my electrician and she provided me the same tips I’ve been telling my kids… Then I remembered that my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C provider had a free repair that when I called them, they would supply me advice on energy and my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system, and one of the first things she asked was how long ago I had my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C checked. I told him last month! She told me to keep up with the checks to ensure that it was running at its most optimum efficiency for energy savings, then also she said to mention to the worker to check the air ducts each time since these can leak out air. About twenty percent of the air moving through a person’s house can be lost due to imstandard sealing of air ducts. She also stated that it’s pressing to check linkions at vents and registers and make sure that they’re sealed well too. If these are sealed well you won’t lose air, which if it does, it can make your Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system run longer than normal.
