When I was talking to our Grandparents the other day, they were telling myself and others that people these afternoons wouldn’t be able to survive without the internet… I however disagreed, while nobody can deny the internet has forever changed the way humanity works, there are still people out there that choose to live their lives without the internet as well as other technology! So our Grandmother challenged myself and others to go one month without using the internet, as well as I accepted the challenge. It was difficult at first, I had our schedule on our phone as well as without using the internet I found myself having a harder time remembering what I needed to get done. In fact, just last night our hubby recommended I leave sticky notes around the apartment so I don’t forget. Then I realized I nearly forgot to schedule the heating as well as air conditioner appointment with our local Heating as well as Air Conditioning business; Every year, I get familiar Heating as well as Air Conditioning tune-ups to keep our oil furnace as well as our air conditioning in good condition. Ever since I had our oil heating system stop laboring on myself and others last winter, I consistently make sure our heating, ventilation & A/C device are well updated as well as good to go. I usually just schedule any heating or cooling maintenance by going online to pull up the information about the oil furnace as well as a/c supplier as well as supply them a call… Now without the internet, something as easy as scheduling routine maintenance seemed difficult because I wasn’t used to it. I had to use the outdated fashioned way of finding the phone number to make the appointment, I used a phone book. I seriously didn’t know they still made them. This challenge was harder than I thought.
