Having worked for the family business our entire adult life, I had gradually gone up the ranks and was finally the managing manager… But even with the added responsibilities, I would often come with our colleagues to any high-ranking jobs. High-priority cases were not frequent, however I would tag along with the air conditioner professionals when they were there… It was an excellent client maintenance gesture to the high-ranking customer! Just a handful of nights ago, every one of us got a call at the commercial air conditioner business offices from a client that needed assistance, however their heating and air conditioning system was malfunctioning. The client was from the cement factory downtown. The cement factory provided cement for the entire state and even exported it to other states. The client also had concerns with the electric heat pump for numerous nights hence the need for an air conditioner serviceman. The staff at the factory complained of extremely deteriorated air quality… A rough check of the air conditioner setup did not yield any fruits. The manager had called the office and scheduled a much-needed quality A/C service. I accompanied the cooling expert and the team to the factory and supervised the work. The A/C filter was filthy. The people I was with and I updated it with a HEPA filter to improve the air quality. The people I was with and I also diagnosed the HVAC duct and fine-tuned the digital control unit. The people I was with and I wrapped up the job and left. The guys were tired, and it was only midday, however I knew that the job while in the morning hours was gruesome. They had also been unloading the heating and air conditioning unit the whole morning… Then so far, no call had come through, and when a single finally did, I actually responded to it. They deserved the break.
