The people I was with and I had to go down south for a funeral Last yearand the weather was so hot that the two of us could barely sit it.
- I do not get down there too much these afternoons, plus periodically I forget how hot it entirely gets down there.
The temperature was 91 degrees by the time it was 11:00 PM in the day, plus the humidity was ridiculous. I remember growing up down there plus not thinking that it felt all that hot, however now that I live far away in a cooler area of the country, the temperature difference is particularly evident. The people I was with and I had the air conditioning in the car running on full blast the whole time that the two of us were driving around. I stayed at my aunt’s house, plus they do not entirely use the air conditioning all that much because they are used to the heat. That was bad news for us, because the two of us were melting the whole time that the two of us were there. My awful partner, who is not from the South, looked like he was going to melt the whole time that the two of us were there. I felt entirely bad for him. Once I had been there for a while, I kind of got used to it again because I guess the South is in my blood. That was absolutely not the case for my partner. He was desperately looking for places with air conditioning the whole time that the two of us were there. The people I was with and I were both entirely blissful to get back cabin so that the two of us could turn our central air conditioning plan on as low as the two of us wanted!
