Two typical Heating and A/C noises and what they might mean

Over the years, I have observed that certain noises coming from our Heating and A/C plan indicate troubles.

  • I understand that there are some noises that are typical and no need for concern, but every now and then a recognizable ly conspicuous noise gets our attention.

It makes myself and others wonder whether or not something’s wrong. For example, I used to hear a loud banging noise coming from our Heating and A/C plan from time to time. The heat would kick on, and then shortly thereafter, there would be a bang. It would happen again a little later when the heat kicked off. This continued for quite some time, and because the noise was quite jarring, I decided to finally call an Heating and A/C business to find out what the origins of the banging noise were. The Heating and A/C business did an inspection of our plan and did some basic service, but eventually, he came to the conclusion that our metal ductworks were to blame. They were expanding and contracting as air moved through the system. He commanded that if the noise was disconcerting, it may be necessary for myself and others to upgrade our ductworks with greater 1s that are better able to accommodate the airflow going throughout the Heating and A/C system. There was another time when I started to hear rattling coming from our Heating and A/C system. Whenever the a/c was laboring, recognizable ly when it was laboring hard, I would hear this rattling coming from the unit. Once again, I called out an Heating and A/C business and found out that there were certain parts that needed to be tightened. The fan blade and the motor were both in need of service. If the noises coming from your Heating and A/C plan are hard to ignore, get an Heating and A/C business out to fix the problem!
