I told my buddies as soon as the freight delivery arrived and everybody came over, except for Andy.
He apologized and said he was running late.
I told him he better be there for the current HVAC install because he’s the a single who talked me into getting this DIY ductless mini split. In the meantime, we all were checking out the different parts and carefully studying the directions. Every one of us honestly completed most of the replacement before Andy even showed up. Of course, we did look at the tutorial video that he texted to all of us, so it wasn’t too strenuous to figure out when seeing a step by step video replacement of the same type of HVAC system. The most challenging area was figuring out where to drill the holes in the wall, and drilling those holes themselves. It was kind of pain for us as we used 3.5 inch hole saws with our hand drills. I entirely went through my drill battery life, but luckyly I had a backup for the job. The electric area was kind of tough as well, but that is when Andy finally showed up, to help us out with that part. Actually, that’s a single of the most pressing parts of the replacement. Some people don’t care about messing with electricity, myself included, so they officially hire a local supplier to take care of those kinds of situations. Andy was able to get through the connections entirely though and he used a special tool to make sure there was no electric current while taking care of the connections.
