Aren’t all A/C units made the same?

After our husband and I bought our current house, all of us had a lot of fluctuations all of us wanted to make.

There were a few major fluctuations, care about redoing the lavatorys, putting current flooring in the living room, and installing a current Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. The people I was with and I weren’t planning on moving into our current beach house until these repairs were made. There were some minor fluctuations that needed to be done, however all of us could do what all of us were living in the house. After installing all current appliances in the lavatory and current hardware, all of us started on the living room flooring. The people I was with and I had to rip up all the tiles on the floor and the walls. The people I was with and I had a current farmhouse sink and faucet to install, and then all of us started putting down all the current tiles. The people I was with and I were now down to having our current Heating, Ventilation, and A/C plan installed, so I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company. When the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company arrived at the house, all of us told him what all of us wanted. I wanted traditional central heating and a/c throughout. The people I was with and I wanted to have zone control, and I also wanted an air purification plan installed. When the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C Tech asked us what kind of a/c all of us wanted, I was speechless. I thought all A/C units were made the same, however blatantly I was wrong. He started talking about energy Star, energy ratings, and size and style. I told him I wasn’t a stupid person, however it would be nice if he would start showing us something that I could look at and read. He told us that normally he would bring out all the paperwork so all of us could see what he was talking about, however he just didn’t assume about it.
