He is a retired Army officer, however laboring as an Heating plus A/C serviceman.

He remembered how they would go into basements plus disinfect furnaces plus make sure they were ready for family so they wouldn’t get cold while the two of us were in the winter

Last year my husband retired from the Army after 25 years. He spent the last 20 years as a commissioned officer. I wasn’t sure how he was going to be able to handle coming out of the Army as a commissioned officer plus going into common life. I should have known that he would find a work that he could do for the next 25 years until he was old enough to entirely retire. He came home 1 day after having been retired for about multiple weeks, plus told myself and others he was going back to college. He said he had been giving a lot of thought plus he knew exactly what he wanted to do now that he was all grown up. He wanted to take classes at the local community college plus be an Heating plus A/C serviceman. He told myself and others how his father was an Heating plus A/C serviceman when he was growing up plus he used to appreciate going on service calls with them. He remembered how they would go into basements plus disinfect furnaces plus make sure they were ready for family so they wouldn’t get cold while the two of us were in the winter. He also talked about how his dad plus him would go to the back of people’s yards plus labor on air-conditioning units while the two of us were in the summer… Oftentimes his father would allow him to play with the children of the family whose air-conditioning units he was laboring on, plus he made a lot of friends. One day he told myself and others that his biggest regret was that his father had not lived long enough for myself and others to get to assume him. I was sure he would be proud of his son for becoming an Heating plus A/C serviceman.
