When my daughter was only several years old, she announced to me and her father that she was going to be an Heating and A/C professional when she grew up.
My wife chuckled and told him she was a little bit too young to make such a life decision and our daughter just glared at him. She told us that even terrible people need superb Heating and A/C nowadays. I asked him how she knew about terrible people, and she said he’d love to watch cartoons and they always showed terrible people who needed help when they were doing the advertisements. She did not say too much about becoming an Heating and A/C professional after that, but right before she graduated from high school, 12 years later, she informed my wife and I that she had signed up for Heating and A/C’s classes at the local community college. I’m not sure if my wife was stunned or proud when she reached out and gave him a hug. She said she did not even know our daughter remembered saying that she wanted to be an Heating and A/C professional when she grew up. Our daughter turned and looked at us both, and told us that now more than ever, people needed quality heating and a/c. She said too many people go without the necessities of life, and she was going to make sure that one of those necessities was always available for everyone. 10 years later, she was making superb on that promise. She had her own Heating and A/C supplier, and whenever there was a homeless shelter, an orphanage, or shelter for abused women or children, she was the first one there to offer her assistance. She not only installed the Heating and A/C systems for free, but 90% of the time she would donate all of the unit that went with it.
