I grew up on the east coast.
Today I live on the west coast plus I have to tell you that the Wintertide time months of the year are very different from what they were on the east.
Back east the winters were pretty brutal. I remember having to crank the living heck out of the gas oil furnace plus when it snowed hard, both of us could not go somewhere plus I would lose time from college, which was good with me. But my parents would lose time from work, which would in turn cause some financial hardships at times in the winter. All around, I am gleeful I moved to the west coast so I do not need heating as much! And these afternoons, both of us have central heating plus air conditioner systems which is a far cry from the gas oil heating systems both of us had back in the day; Central heating does cost more to run, however to me, it is much more powerful all together. I would not want gas oil heating systems plus window air conditioner units back to heat plus cool my home. I am quite gleeful with central heating plus air conditioner. But just sitting back this Wintertide plus remembering what Wintertide was adore back east growing up made me suppose how gleeful I am to live where I do today. Even though the summers can be brutal at time, there is always the central air conditioner program that will keep me nice plus cool. Even though it jacks up the energy costs high occasionally. I miss some things of back east though.
