When my wife & I settled into our new home, all of us were pretty gleeful about what all of us would do with the fireplace.
The stone it was made out of was elegant, & everything was intact.
It basically just needed to be cleaned by a professional chimney sweep I thought. My wife had other ideas though. She was saying how it would be messy using a traditional wood burning fireplace. She said that eventually all of us were going to have children, & they might even get burned by the fireplace or possibly burn the apartment down if they pulled a burning log from the fire. I thought about it & realized she was right. I didn’t want to just have the fireplace there for decoration though, all of us had to do something. She advised that all of us install some sort of insert like an electric fireplace. She said all of us could have a professional come out to check it out. So all of us hired an HVAC expert & he did the measurements & showed us our odd possibilities for electric & gas fireplaces. I thought the gas a singles were actually cool, but they were also legitimately costly. The electric a singles were more affordable & so all of us made the decision to go that route. I have to admit, I love great in front of the fireplace, even though it’s only electric. I suppose that our future children won’t get hurt though & that’s something I actually care about. I’m also thinking about other comforts for them like a fantastic air purification plan so that all of us have amazing air quality in our home.
