I can’t remember spending this amount of time inside the HVAC comfort of home.
Plus, I had never worked from home until this pandemic forced me to do it.
These changes are something that I am still really struggling to get right with. Our entire company is working from the safety of their homes now. Fortunately, our industry is suited well to working remotely and we really haven’t even skipped a beat. That being said, I still really miss that perfectly HVAC controlled office that sits empty now. And, if what I’m hearing is true, I may never see that office again. The company is considering going remote employment even once the pandemic is over. I’m still not sure how I would feel about that. But, I did do something that would help me feel better about working from home on a permanent basis. I decided that it was essential that the air quality in our home was the best that it could be. So, I called the HVAC people for help. They suggested that I have a whole house air purifier installed. It was a bit of an upfront cost but one that will pay health dividends. This allows the immune system to be strengthened instead of suppressed by all the airborne contaminants in the air we breathe. I like the idea of knowing that the HVAC and the whole house air purifier are actively working to eliminate health risks from my home.
