I am not a unquestionably computer savvy lady.
In fact, I’m one was those grouchy seasoned chicks who don’t “get” technology like other people do.
I still have the same flip PC I’ve had for years, which doesn’t have internet and only limited texting. I don’t care enough to replace, not because of the cost, because I don’t want that complicated a device. I only use it to order pizza anyway, or to call our pals. A lot of venues are doing corporation online because of the quarantine, and this is a big problem for me. When I needed an AC service task, I didn’t even guess about going online, I went for a PC book to call someone local. It turns out our PC book was out of date, so I called our acquaintance and asked him to recommend a good AC company for me. What did she do? Of course she went right to the internet and Google searched for local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies. While I was on the PC she clicked through to various odd Heating, Ventilation, and A/C websites, and provided me some PC numbers for ones that hadn’t closed up for lockdown. I made a few calls, only talked to one live person, and she wasn’t even an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech she was just answering the PCs. I had to wait an third just for an AC expert to call me back, so the two of us could discuss the problem. I booked an appointment to have them look at our central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, however even that had a several week wait time!
